Auditions for voice actors accepted beginning the week of July 12, 2026.

Current Roles available:

  • Male voice, late 30s — Jem, Spencer’s hired gun. Southern United States accent. Sullen and tough-talking. 7-10 lines, potential to expand.

  • Female voice, 30s-40s — Talia, Claire’s friend. Southeastern United States accent, warm and protective. 7-10 lines, potential to expand.

  • Male voice, Late 30s+ — Southern preacher character. Warm, charismatic, authoritative; ability to deliver earnest sermon-style lines and playful, slightly exaggerated preacher cadences. 3–5 lines, potential to expand.

  • Two character voices, 25-35 — All genders considered. Versatile, distinctive tones; No specific accent required. 3-5 lines each.

  • Two female voices, 30-50 — Southeastern United States accents. Natural, lived-in regional flavor; upper society lady cadence. 3-5 lines each.

Compensation: booking fee plus per-completed-line rate. Recording specs, usage, and schedule provided upon booking.

No AI-generated voice work, voice cloning, or synthetic vocal replacement will be used in this project. Actor recordings will not be used for training, imitation, or future reuse beyond the agreed scope of production.

Mikey’s Funeral is set in a small Southern coastal town. It follows two old friends who come home for a funeral, only to find themselves pulled into a much deeper mess involving grief, old history, complicated relationships, and secrets that were never really buried in the first place.
